After the Pahalgam attack, the Government of India has taken another major action against Pakistan. India has stopped all types of trade with Pakistan. The central government has banned direct and indirect trade with the neighboring country, which may directly affect its economy. The move is likely to worse the stressful relations between India and Pakistan.

India has banned all the content (all traffic) directly or indirectly from Pakistan. The indirect meaning of this ban is that now trade with India will not be possible through a third country or business group from Pakistan. This means that India has completely stopped trade between the two countries under the steps taken against terrorist attacks.

The Ministry of Commerce has issued a notification of this order. According to this notification, India has banned direct and indirect exports or all traffic from Pakistan with immediate effect. Let us tell you that Pakistan is exported from India to Pakistan, organic and inorganic chemicals, medicines, agricultural products, cotton and cotton thread, sugar, sweets, plastic, machinery and other items are exported. After the trade ban, India will not be able to send medicines or sugar to Pakistan. At the same time, dried fruits, watermelons and other fruits, cement, rock salt, stone, lime, multani mitti, optics, cotton, steel, organic chemicals and leather goods are imported from Pakistan.

Along with this, in another action, the Government of India has suspended all types of postal and parcel services coming from Pakistan with immediate effect. This decision will apply to all postal and parcel exchange from air and land routes between the two countries. The Department of Posts has issued a public notice in this regard and confirmed this suspension.

It is worth noting that postal services between India and Pakistan were already running on a limited basis. Pakistan temporarily suspended postal services after canceling Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir in August 2019, which were restored after three months. Now in view of the current stressful situation, India has decided to completely close these services.

No business with Pakistan! All import-export closed with neighboring country, big decision against Pahalgam attack Pahalgam terrorist attack India Pakistan trade shut down ...

This suspension will completely stop correspondence, commercial mail and exchange of private parcels between the two countries. Experts believe that this move will have the most impact on those who depend on family or commercial mail between the two countries.

The development took place a few hours after India imposed an immediate ban on direct or indirect imports and movement of all goods going into Pakistan or from there, causing effective to stop the flow of bilateral trade.

The move is a reaction to the growing tension between the two countries after the brutal attack in Pahalgam, in which 26 innocent tourists lost their lives. The suspension of postal exchange has further increased tension in diplomatic and business relations.
