Pakistani Army Chief Warning: After the cruel terrorist attack on Hindu tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the tough steps taken by India have created a tension in Pakistan. The effect of this action is clearly felt, especially on the Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir. Stress on his faces and fear in the eyes cannot hide the concern of Pakistan’s military leadership.

India’s aggressive stand after Pahalgam attack

On 22 April, terrorists attacked Hindu tourists in the Basaron Valley of Jammu and Kashmir, with some brutally murdered. The Government of India has taken a tough stand in response to this inhuman act and has expressed a resolve to teach a lesson to the terrorists and their supporters.

Stressful atmosphere in panic-monitoring meeting in Pakistan

In this backdrop, the Pakistani Army organized an important ‘Core Commanders Conference’ in Rawalpindi. The meeting was attended by General Aseem Munir and senior military officers. However, concern, tension and discomfort were clearly visible on the faces of all the military officers present in this meeting.

A picture of the meeting depicts a diary, document and a laptop on the table, in which there was a serious discussion about the current situation. In particular, the changing color of the infinite munir, the blurred eyes and the lines of tension on the face were testifying to his internal terror.

Impact of suspension of Indus Water Treaty – Pakistan upset

The Government of India has decided to suspend the Indus Water Treaty, which is extremely dangerous and disturbing for Pakistan. Under this agreement, Pakistan was getting water from Indus, Jhelum and Chenab rivers. Asim Munir expressed concern that 240 million citizens of Pakistan had come under the shadow of water crisis as soon as India suspended the agreement. He said, “India is now using water as a weapon” and this action is like war. He says that this action threatens regional stability and India’s decision has to pay the price to support terrorist acts.

India’s military preparation – security increased along the Line of Control

Since then, the Government of India has further strengthened its military deployment along the Line of Control. With the help of drones, continuous patrolling is being done at night, while in many places new technology -based monitoring systems have been implemented. Sources in the Ministry of Defense said, “India will no longer tolerate any action of terrorism. A direct reply will be given to the countries sponsoring terrorism.”

India’s clear message: Patience is over!

Pakistan is facing heavy international and internal pressure due to India’s tough steps. The adventure and firm decision taken by India after the Pahalgam attack has given a tough message to the forces supporting terrorists – “That’s enough!”

There is no doubt that due to all these developments, Pakistan’s Army Chief Aseem Munir and his associates are under complete pressure. Decisive decisions like India’s readiness, and Indus Water Treaty to answer – all these reflect India’s determination in the new era in the fight against terrorism.
