Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol starrer Ramayana is one of the most awaited upcoming movies. Waves 2025 is currently taking place in Mumbai, and recently, a video of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has gone viral on social media in which he is praising Ramayana. The CM said that he was amazed to see the quality of Ramayana which was being created.
While talking to writer-producer, Namit Malhotra, Fadnavissaid, “I think as you rightly said we are world’s oldest storytellers. Our art, drama, music is very old, and we only wanted to couple it up with latest technology, and I think that’s what you are doing. So, yesterday, when I visited your pavilion with Honourable Prime Minister, I was amazed to see the quality of Ramayana which you are creating. I think that is the way we need to tell our stories to our new generation, and I think with what you are setting up will be the best in the globe.”
Ramayana Cast
Ramayana has an amazing star cast. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi plays the role of Sita Mata, Ravi Dubey will portray the character of Laxman, Sunny Deol will be seen as Hanuman, and Yash plays the character of Raavan.
Ramayana Release Date
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana will be released in two parts. The first part will release on Diwali 2026, and second part will hit the big screens on Diwali 2027. Moviegoers are already excited about it.
Ramayana First Look
There were reports that the first look of Ramayana will be unveiled at Waves 2025. Malhotra confirmed that they were planning to reveal the first look of the film, but postponed it due to Pahalgam attack.
