The price of petrol in Delhi has been recorded at Rs 94.77 and diesel has been priced at Rs 87.67.
The price of petrol in Mumbai has been recorded at Rs 103.50 and the price of diesel is Rs 90.03.
Petrol in Chennai is Rs 100.80 and diesel is Rs 92.39 per liter.
In Kolkata, the price of petrol has been recorded at Rs 105.01 and the price of diesel is Rs 91.82.
Petrol and diesel prices fluctuate due to several reasons, such as crude oil prices, government tax policies and global events in the international market. Transport costs increase when petrol and diesel are expensive, due to which the prices of everyday things also increase and inflation directly affects the common man.
