There is an atmosphere of anger in the whole country after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. From common people to politicians, everyone is demanding strict action against Pakistan. The whole country is in one voice urging the Government of India that the time has come to merge Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (PoK) into India.

Pakistan is scared of tough decisions taken by the Government of India. Meanwhile, the local administration in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir has appealed to the people living near the border to deposit the stock of food items for two months. According to the report of the news agency AFP, PoK Prime Minister Chaudhary Anwarul Haq told the assembly that instructions have been issued to store food supply for two months in 13 constituencies.

In these 13 constituencies, an emergency fund of Rs 1 billion has also been created to provide food, medicines and all other basic needs. He said that government and private machinery is also being deployed for maintenance of roads in the nearby areas of the Line of Control.

Pakistan had said earlier this week that it has reliable evidence that India is preparing to attack. Due to this fear, Pakistani officials in PoK have closed more than 1000 religious schools on Thursday (May 1, 2025) for 10 days.
