SK & Viral’s Ninjas clinched a dominant eight-wicket victory over Gauranga’s Guardians in the Cricket Club of India tournament at Brabourne stadium on Friday. SK & Viral’s successfully chased down the target of 131 runs in just 12.1 overs, finishing at 133/2 in the final to clinch the title.
The star of the match was Boby Bajaj, who delivered a match-winning knock of 60 runs off 33 balls, smashing nine fours and one six. He was well-supported by S. Hazare, who blazed 52 off 25 balls with nine boundaries.
On the bowling front, A. Javeri and R. Tawde led the charge for the Ninjas, taking three wickets each, restricting the Guardians to 130 all out in 18.4 overs. Their all-round excellence secured the championship for the Ninjas in style.
Six teams featured in the event from March 25 to May 1, delivering a thrilling display of cricketing talent, strategy, and sportsmanship over the course of several high-intensity matches.
