Sirens are ringing in 29 districts of Pakistan: The possibility of India’s possible action has created an atmosphere of fear in Pakistan. Due to the apprehension that India, especially after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, may take drastic steps, the Pakistan government has ordered an air siren system in 29 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. This order has been given by the Civil Defense Department to the Deputy Commissioners of the concerned districts, in which they have been instructed to instantly siren and submit the report.

One siren will be installed in each of the remaining 22 districts. It includes lower dir, Chitral, Kurram, Naushera, Haripur, Bajaur, Hungu, Waziristan, Orakzai and other border areas. It is particularly notable that all these districts are located 300 to 500 kilometers from the Line of Control. Therefore, Pakistan has become alert to the possibility of action not only in the border areas but also in internal provinces.
