Especially around the national Dalit inspiration site, jam has become a big headache. But now there is a good news! Noida Authority has planned to widen the road at this jam place, which is expected to get relief for people.
Where will the road be wide?
This work will be done from the end of the sector-18 flyover to the loop leading to DND. There is a plan to widen about 400 meters long.
How will the road be wide? The pavement will be removed, the trees will survive!
The most important thing is that the main boundary of the inspiration site, the pavement near it will be removed and it will also be made part of the road. This will make the road around 5 to 7 meters wide.
And yes, another good thing! For this work, the second boundary wall of the inspiration site will have to be completely removed, but this is being done so that about 350 trees coming in the way can be saved from being cut. The Noida Authority’s plan is that these trees will be made like a green strip (Central Verge) in the middle of the road. Due to this, trees will also be saved, greenery will also remain and the road will also look beautiful. Permission has also been received from the inspiration site memorial committee for this entire work.
Who will get benefit? Relief to 10 lakh people daily!
Think, about 1 million vehicles come and go from Delhi to Noida and Greater Noida daily. Due to this heavy traffic, there is a severe jam near Sector-14 A, DND, Film City, Sector-15 A, Sector-16 A and Sector-18 flyover.
Earlier too, a lane was extended from Sector-14 A to Sector-16 A to a lane, but the work was stopped near the inspiration site, which caused traffic to get stuck.
Now that the road will be widened here too, this path which used to shrink due to the jam (Bottleneck), it will no longer remain. This will make the journey of people going from Sector-18 to DND towards Delhi without jam. This step of Noida Authority can really improve the city’s traffic system!
