CBSE Board Class 10, 12 Result 2025: The CBSE Class 10 and 12 Results 2025 will be declared soon, however, the official date and time have not been announced yet by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The declaration will be made initially through a press conference, and then the result links will be made active on the official websites at cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in.

To view their results, students will have to provide information like their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth as mentioned on their admit card. The online result will be a provisional marksheet, and students will subsequently get their official marksheets from their respective schools.

CBSE pass percentages have fluctuated over the last five years. The highest results were achieved in 2021 during the pandemic Class 10 at 99.04% and Class 12 at 99.37%. But after the return to normal assessments, the Class 10 results have been fairly consistent (94.40% in 2022 and 93.60% in 2024), whereas Class 12 experienced a more surprising fall from 92.71% in 2022 to 87.33% in 2023, before a small increase to 87.98% in 2024.

The CBSE board examinations are meant to test the academic progress of the students throughout the year. For a student to be declared as ‘pass’, it needs to achieve at least 33% in a particular subject. Where a student is short by one mark in borderline cases, the board has the discretion to consider awarding grace marks in order for the student to pass.
