Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): Two young children, aged 3 and 4, were brutally killed by their father on Friday in Dhar district.

The incident took place in Bhanwarpura village, under Dahi police station in Dhar district.

The father, Sikdar, is now missing and being searched by police.

The shocking incident happened after a family dispute.

According to the police, Sikdar had a fight with his wife Manju on the night before the incident. During the fight, he tried to strangle her.

Manju managed to escape with her elder son Pankaj, but her younger sons, Akash (4) and Vikas (3), were left at home.

When Manju returned the next morning around 8 a.m. on May 2, she found both children lying in the courtyard, covered in blood. They had been attacked with a sharp weapon and died on the spot due to heavy bleeding.

Manju informed village Patel Pratap Singh, who then contacted the police. Dahi police reached the spot, examined the scene, and started a case.

The children’s bodies were sent to Dahi hospital for postmortem, and police have begun searching for Sikdar.

Authorities are continuing their search for the accused and further investigation is underway.
