The work of the new National Highway to be built from Bareilly to Mathura in Uttar Pradesh is going on fast. Recently, Badaun DM Avnish Kumar Rai inspected the construction works of this highway. During the inspection, he reviewed the work going on on the Medical College Tiraha and Ujhani bypass and directed the officials to regular terrestrial inspection.
Highway will be completed in four stages
This important highway project is being constructed in four stages:
- First Phase: From Mathura to Hathras (PNC Infra and others)
- Second phase: Hathras to Kasganj (GR Infra)
- Third phase: Kasganj to Badaun (GR Infra)
- Fourth phase: Badaun to Bareilly (Dhariwal Construction)
Importance of Badaun to Kasganj section
Construction of about 56 km long between Badaun to Kasganj is going on fast. This project will provide better transport facility to the local public and tourism will also be boosted.

- Cost: Rs 1527 crore
- Width: 10 meters
- Four new bypasses will be built
- Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari approved
Good news for farmers
In the fourth phase of this project, about 87 hectares of land will be acquired between Badaun to Bareilly, which will benefit more than 1200 farmers. This land acquisition will be financially beneficial for farmers.
