Telengana: A heart-breaking incident of animal cruelty has come to light from Telangana. Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), which celebrated its silver jubilee on Sunday had organised a rally in Warangal district. With thousands of party workers, who had flocked from various parts of the state to hear their party leader KCR speak, a bull was also bought to the rally by a party worker. Reportedly, the bull was forced to walk 110 KMs in scorching heat. Due to which the animal collapsed.
A video of the bull, with ‘BRS’ written on it with pink colour, can be seen lying on the ground after exhaustion, was posted by an animal welfare page “Street dogs of Bombay”. A bull, which can maximum walk 40Kms a day was compelled to walk almost thrice its capacity. The colour which which is used to write ‘BRS’ on it can be harmful for the skin of the animal.
Netizens React
Reacting to the viral video, one of the users said, “Was he rescued and given immediate medical attention? I don’t even want to bother with the human beings who did this to him. Expecting ‘humane’ behaviour from humans is as unrealistic as thinking that the flying car in Harry Potter is real. One can only imagine it and not actually see it.”
