The Yogi government is going to start the recruitment process for 19,220 constable posts in Uttar Pradesh Police soon. In this regard, the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has almost completed complete preparations. It is expected that the official notification of recruitment will be released in the first week of May.
According to sources, the recruitment release will be released after the final approval from the government along with the selection of the examination conducting the examination. The online application process will also start as soon as the notification is released.

- Special Security Force: 1341 posts
- PAC Women’s Corps (Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Badaun): 2282 posts
- Civil Police: 3245 posts
- Armed Police (PAC): 2444 posts
- Horseman Police: 71 posts
Written examination will be conducted after the online application process is completed. Candidates will be selected through this examination. Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh government recruited 60,244 soldiers. Now again, removing new recruitment on such a large scale is being considered as an important step of the state government.
