New Delhi: The Government of India has blocked 16 Pakistani YouTube channels on charges of spreading inflammatory and communally sensitive material after the Pahalgam terror attack. These channels had a total of 63 million customers. This action was taken on the recommendation of the Union Home Ministry.

Blockous channels include Pakistani news channel Don, Sama TV, Air TV, Bol News, Gat, Jio News and Suno News. Along with this, YouTube channels of Pakistani journalists Irshad Bhatti, Asma Shiraji, Omar Cheema and Munib Farooq have also been banned.

The government said that YouTube channel is spreading false news and misinformation against India, Indian Army and security agencies. It is noteworthy that relations between India and Pakistan have become tense after the Pahalgam attack. 25 tourists and a Kashmiri citizens were killed in this attack.

Demand to ban Pakistani TV panelists who spew poison against India

Many panelists from Pakistan participate in some TV debates in India.

Since the video link is available, such panelists sitting in Pakistan are participating in the debate on Indian TV channels and are spewing poison against India. Many channels try to create sensation by including such panelists in their programs in an attempt to increase TRP. There was a demand on social media that action should be taken against such panelists who have spewed poison against India like YouTubers.
