News India Live, Digital Desk: If you come and go on Ghaziabad, Modinagar or Hapur route, then there is news of relief for you. This road, which is always struggling with traffic jams, will now be made four -lane. The Public Works Department (PWD) has planned to widen the 23 km long road from Modinagar to Hapur.
Lanes will grow on both sides of the road
Each lane will be increased on both sides of this road, which will make the current two-lane road of four lanes. This will facilitate traffic between Ghaziabad, Modinagar and Hapur. This scheme will not only reduce traffic, but will also help in the development of surrounding areas.
More than 60 villages will be benefited
People from more than 60 villages including Khanjarpur, Bhojpur, Amheeda, Faridpur, Sujanpur, Alwarpur, Atrauli on Modinagar-Hapur road will benefit from the widening of this road. Currently this road is of two -lane, in which there is often jam due to high traffic. This problem will be overcome by widening the road.
The current road situation is bad
Currently this road is broken in many places and there are big pits everywhere. It was constructed in 2006, but it was damaged only a year later. Due to pits and poor roads, the operation of buses of Hapur depot on this route was also reduced.
Demand arose from local representatives
Local people demanded MP Atul Garg and MLA Manju Shivach for the construction of this road. Both public representatives wrote a letter to the department in this matter, requesting the widening of the road at the earliest.
The survey has been completed
The engineers of the department have completed the survey of the road. Now the department is preparing a detailed action plan and budget of this project. Construction work will be started as soon as the budget is approved.
