Pahalgam terror attack: Taliban condemns attack, India’s global campaign intensified

According to sources, the Taliban acting External Affairs Minister Maulvi Aamir Khan Mottaki condemned the attack, saying that such attacks are serious threats to regional stability, and the attackers should be punished strictly. Mottaki said this during a meeting with a delegation led by India’s Joint Foreign Secretary Anand Prakash. The Taliban has also categorically denied any strategic assistance to Pakistan in a state of tension.

Advice of former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif

On the other hand, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has advised the Pakistan government to resolve the dispute with India through diplomatic medium amid a statement threatening war by Defense Minister Khwaja Asif in Pakistan. However, Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz have not yet publicly condemned the Pahalgam attack.
