Bettiah: Property dealer Suresh Yadav was injured by unidentified criminals on 18 April 2025 at Barwat Ashram Road in Mufassil police station area at around 8:30 am. After this sensational incident, the police took action promptly and registered an FIR and started research in a scientific manner.
Police examined more than 100 CCTV cameras after the incident and analyzed the route of 120 km of criminals. Criminals were identified on the basis of technical input and human information. Thereafter, a shooter Jayant Kumar (22 years) was arrested after raiding Sitamarhi district. At the same time, a teenager was also caught against a method in Bettiah on his spot.
During interrogation, the two accused revealed that the conspiracy was carried out for the dues of money due to the dispute in the land transaction with Suresh Yadav’s companions Shambhu Patel and Birbal Kushwaha.
Police have also recovered motorcycles and two mobile phones used from the spot. Raids continue to arrest the other absconding accused.
