Islamabad : After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India vowed to take revenge directly by blaming Pakistan. In this backdrop, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has made harsh remarks towards his country’s army. Rejecting India’s allegations, he clarified that Pakistan has always condemned terrorism and has made countless sacrifices in the fight against it.

Shahbaz Sharif said, “Everything that happened in Pahalgam is just a politics of accusation. Efforts are being made to discredit us.” He also said that Pakistan is ready for any kind of international investigation. He claimed that Pakistan has always taken a tough stand against terrorism and defended its stand before the international community. Also, in his speech he warned strongly that the Pakistani Army is fully prepared for war and is able to face any challenge.

Adopting patriotic tone in his speech, Shahbaz Sharif said, “We will protect every inch of Pakistan’s land. Peace is paramount for us, but no one should forget to consider it as our weakness.” He emphasized the abilities of the army and said that no aggressive attitude or aggression would be tolerated. He assured the countrymen that, “Pakistan will fight till the end for its sovereignty.”
Warning given about Indus Water Treaty
Shahbaz Sharif issued a warning, reacting to the suggestions of India to reconsider the Indus Water Treaty. He firmly said, “If any attempt is made to stop the water, we will answer with full force.” He said that the Indus Treaty is a lifeline for Pakistan. He appealed to India to stay on the path of peace, otherwise Pakistan would have to take strict steps for its safety.

Meanwhile, intense resentment is being expressed in India over the attack in Pahalgam. Indian leaders have demanded strict action against Pakistan.
