Mumbai – The first Air Force Museum in Maharashtra, which demonstrated the glorious history of the Air Force protecting the country’s airspace, was inaugurated in Nagpur today.

The museum was inaugurated by Air Marshal Vijay Garg in the city of Air Force. MiG-21 fighter aircraft, Mi-8 helicopters and Pichora missiles have been deployed near the entrance of the museum. People will get a chance to closely watch fighter aircraft, helicopters and missiles for the first time.

The museum presents a detailed observation of the role played by the Air Force and the Military Aviation Wing in various wars. The weapons used by the Air Force have been arranged in a section.

Videos of the Air Force’s heart-wrenching campaigns are shown in the audio-visual section. Additionally, in the air-simulator section, visitors may experience what flying fighter aircraft is.
