In the wake of these complaints the department is set to inspect and verify the allegations and further take strict action against such Taverns.

The Excise staff has clearly instructed the shop operators to display the approved rate list and issue bills to the customers. Action will be taken against shop operators who do not follow the instructions, the department warned.
