BLA’s big attack in Quetta: 10 Pakistani Army personnel killed, remote control IED

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in the Margat area of ​​Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province of Pakistan, has made a major attack claiming to kill 10 Pakistani army personnel. The attack was carried out through a remote-control IED, in which an army vehicle was completely destroyed.

The BLA has issued a statement taking responsibility for this attack. Organization spokesperson Jiyend Baloch said, “This attack is part of our ongoing struggle against Pakistan’s occupied army. Our operations will continue until the army is completely eliminated from Baloch land.”

According to the BLA, the soldiers who died in the attack include Subedar Shahzad Amin, Naib Subedar Abbas, soldier Khalil, soldier Zahid, soldier Khurram Salim and other soldiers.

Increased increasing attacks in Balochistan

This is not the first time that the BLA has made such a big attack on the Pakistani army. Earlier, on 16 March also, the Capor (FC) convoy was attacked on the National Highway in Noshiki area of ​​Balochistan, killing five soldiers and 12 injured. In that incident, a suicide bomber collided with an explosive vehicle with an army convoy.

Jafar Express train kidnapping case

Earlier, the BLA also kidnapped the Jafar Express train in Balochistan. In that attack, the BLA killed 20 security personnel and about 350 passengers were freed after the operation that lasted for about 24 hours.

Baloch struggle to demand freedom

The Baloch Liberation Army has long been demanding to make Balochistan an independent nation. The organization often targets Pakistani security forces and has seen a boom in their attacks in recent times. The BLA says that their struggle will continue until the Pakistani army is completely eliminated from the Baloch land.
