PSL 2025: Tourists lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. The Government of India has started taking strict steps against Pakistan in protest against this incident. After this incident, India decided to ban some Pakistani digital and media outlets. This includes banning the broadcast of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 in India. Which is a big shock for Pakistan. This ban has been implemented keeping in mind the attitude of national security and public sentiment.

Pakistan Super League is a T20 cricket tournament organized by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The government has banned live broadcast and online streaming of this tournament in India. The reason behind this is to block cultural and sports broadcasts related to Pakistan in response to the increasing diplomatic tension and terrorist attack between India and Pakistan. Shock to PCB of India: This ban may reduce PCB’s benefit from international broadcasting, as India is known as a major market for cricket. Therefore, the revenue from the broadcast of PSL will be reduced from the Indian market, especially from the Indian market. Fancode and other streaming platforms may be affected by this. In addition, PSL and related broadcasting companies may also suffer financial losses.
