A search operation has been started to search for the terrorists involved in the attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. There has been an uproar after a woman claimed to have seen the terrorists involved in the attack in Kathua district. After this, security forces have launched a massive search operation in Kathua. The special operation group of Jammu and Kashmir Police has reached the spot and is conducting a search operation.

 

Search campaign started

Apart from Kathua, a search operation is being carried out in Pulwama and Baramulla to search for terrorists. On 22 April, terrorists opened fire in Pahalgam in which 26 people were killed. Many people were also injured in this. After this, the terrorists managed to escape from the spot. The army is carrying out a large -scale campaign with the local police to find out the terrorists.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Friday that every criminal involved in the Pahalgam terror attack should be traced. He said that the attackers will have to pay a heavy price for this cowardly act. The Lieutenant Governor held a security review meeting with top military officers including Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi. In a meeting that lasted about an hour, the Lieutenant Governor asked the army chief to take effective steps to bring those responsible for the Pahalgam terror attack and intensify efforts to crush the infrastructure of terrorism and its ecosystem.

During the meeting, Sinha said that the country has full faith in the bravery and courage of the army, police and central armed police forces and all these agencies should identify the conspirators and their colleagues of the Pahalgam terror attack and take continuous action to demolish their entire network. The army chief reached the valley on Friday, where he reviewed the situation after the Pahalgam attack. Officials said that Army Chiefs would review the overall security situation in Jammu and Kashmir and senior military officers will inform them about the steps taken after the attack.
