The Education Department of Panvel Municipal Corporation and the Maharashtra State Municipal Teachers’ Association jointly organized a grand educational workshop titled “Let’s Talk About Education…” and the Ideal Teacher & Ideal School Awards 2025 distribution ceremony on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Adya Krantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke Auditorium.
During the event, the “Student Educational Journey Calendar 2025–26,” developed under the guidance of Education Officer Ramesh Chavan and State President of the Association, Arjun Koli, was unveiled by Chief Guest MLA Prashant Thakur, Additional Commissioner Bharat Rathod, Assistant Commissioner Rupali Mane, former Mayor Kavita Choutmol, former Deputy Mayor Charushila Gharat, Group Education Officer (ZP Panvel) Sitaram Mohite, and subject experts of the workshop Balaji Jadhav, Dattatreya Ware, Arjun Koli, and Irfan Inamdar.
Assistant Teacher of Panvel Municipal Corporation and Vice President of the Teachers’ Association, Jyotsna Umesh Bharda, was the sponsor for the publication of the diary. The calendar outlines a comprehensive plan of school activities throughout the academic year.
In his opening remarks, Education Officer Ramesh Chavan described the workshop as the biggest educational event organized during his tenure. He also shared the plans for the 2025–26 academic year with the teachers.
All members involved in preparing the Student Educational Journey Calendar were felicitated with a shawl and memento. The committee included Chairperson Jyotsna Umesh Bharda and members Vaibhav Sitaram Patil, Pramod Tukaram Langhi, Sujit Prabhakar Mhatre, Vaibhav Chandrakant Patil, Shubhangi Gorakhnath Chavan, and Jayashree Pralhad Rode.
