After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, relations between India and Pakistan have reached a new level. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif has threatened India to ‘war’. Speaking on Sky News, Asif said, “The world should worry about nuclear war between India and Pakistan.” He is threatening at a time when there are millions of beggars in Pakistan. At the same time, Saudi Arabia has thrown thousands of beggars out of the country. Given the image of Pakistan’s deteriorating economy, rising debt and ‘beggar nation’ on the global platform, the fear of Pakistan’s war is nothing more than a joke. Nevertheless, Asif and Army Chief Aseem Munir are not stopping the instigation of India. And there are very few friends left.

Pakistan’s condition can be gauged from the fact that its closest colleague Saudi Arabia is also angry with him. Saudi Arabia has thrown 4,700 Pakistani beggars out of the country in the last three years. He was begging in Mecca and Medina on the pretext of Umrah and Haj visas. Under the strict policies of Saudi Arabia, beggars are sentenced to fine, imprisonment and exile. Due to this, Pakistan is being criticized in the world. This is the reason that Pakistan has recently put 4,300 beggars in the Exit Control List (ECL).

Are there 22 million beggars in Pakistan?

Khwaja Muhammad Asif is threatening India, but before that he should read his statement given in the Pakistani newspaper don a week before that. According to a Dawn report, he said that there are 20 million beggars in Pakistan who earn 42 billion rupees every year. However, if this figure is correct then Pakistan has more beggars than soldiers. The Pakistani Army has 6.54 lakh active and 5.5 lakh reserve soldiers. Khwaja Asif expressed concern that the increasing number of beggars is tarnishing the country’s image in the world. On Saturday, he gave a speech in his hometown Sialkot. In this, he admitted that so far at least 4,700 Pakistani beggars have been taken out of the country. However, he did not give any deadline for this.
