The Uttar Pradesh government is carrying on its mission employment campaign to provide jobs in self -employment and private companies to youth. So far, more than 5.66 lakh youth have got employment under this scheme. The government is contracting private companies to connect ITI and Polytechnic pass students directly to the industry.
Modern skills giving 2800 training centers
Modern and employment -oriented skills are being taught to youth through more than 2800 training centers in the state. This is providing opportunities for youth in major cities like Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Kanpur and Varanasi in IT, electronics, automobiles, manufacturing and agro -based industries.

73 youths got jobs at the employment fair held on 22 March, while 95 students were offered jobs at a program organized at the State Polytechnic.
Under the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, free training is also being given to youth up to 35 years of age.
