Tourists attacked tourists on Tuesday in Besaran Valley of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. 28 innocent people were killed in this attack. After the death of tourists in the terrorist attack, there is a demand to teach a lesson to Pakistan who shelters terrorists from all over the country. India has taken strict decisions to prevent repeated harassment by Pakistan. India took immediate action and took important decisions regarding Pakistan on Wednesday. Now Pakistan is also scared by this decision of India. It is yet to be seen what will be the effect of India’s decision.

Important decisions taken in CCS meeting

Important decisions were taken in the CCS meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under which India has suspended the 65 -year -old Indus Water Treaty. It has also decided to close the attic check post between India and Pakistan. In addition, the issuance of visas to Pakistani citizens was also banned. In addition, while further impressing the relations between the two countries, the advisors of the High Commission have been ordered to leave the country and Pakistan has called back its ambassadors.

Indus Water Treaty postponed

An agreement was signed between India and Pakistan on the Indus Water Treaty on 19 September 1960 between the then Indian Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Pakistani military general Ayub Khan in Karachi. The agreement on the water of six rivers between the two countries is called the Indus Water Treaty. According to this Water Treaty Agreement, India got authority over Ravi, Vyas and Sutlej, while Pakistan was allowed to use Indus, Jhelum and Chenab. The purpose of this treaty is that there should be no struggle between the two countries regarding water. But even after this treaty, there were many clashes between the two countries. Along with terrorist attacks, India has also fought three wars with Pakistan. But India never stopped water.

But this time India has attacked the Indus river to stop the water after the Pahalgam attack. This action of India will deepen the water crisis in Pakistan. 80% of Pakistan’s agriculture is dependent on the water of the Indus, Jhelum and Chenab rivers. In addition, Pakistan generates electricity from many dams and hydroelectric projects. Lack of water can reduce power generation. That is, simply, this step of India can worsen Pakistan’s economic condition. Pakistan’s economic condition has been weak for a long time. Citizens of Pakistan are facing shortage of food grains. Now the people of Pakistan will also have to face lack of water. The Pakistani people will have to bear the brunt of the blackmail of the Pakistani Army.

Economic loss due to closure of attic post

If India closes the attic check post, Pakistan will suffer more economic loss. With the closure of the attic checkpost, the movement between the two countries will now be completely closed. Some goods between India and Pakistan were transacted through this check post. With the closure of this checkpost, the movement of small goods from India which has been going on for a long time will be completely closed. This will reduce the items between the citizens there which India demanded. And small business owners will suffer heavy financial losses. The closure of the check post will stop bilateral trade between the two countries. But small scale movement of goods between the two countries will also be controlled.

Visa service off

India also banned visas for Pakistanis. Due to which now Pakistani citizens will not be able to enter India in any way. In addition, relatives of many people of Pakistan are in India. In such a situation, many times Pakistani people come to India as relatives. But now this will not be possible. There is also a plan to send every Pakistani from India. This is a preparation to break all relations with Pakistan.

Effect of action on ambassadors

India has declared advisors posted at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi as unwanted persons. It has been decided to reduce the number of Pakistani employees from 50 to 30 in the High Commission. They have also been given a week’s time to leave the country. Along with this, India has also called back its advisors from Pakistan. India also withdrew its defense, Navy and air advisors from the Indian High Commission in Islamabad. This move of the government will completely stop military level talks and connectivity between the two countries. Also, Pakistan will suffer losses due to reducing the number of Pakistani employees in the Indian High Commission.

After the terrorist attack on Pahalgam, India gave a strong reply to Pakistan and stopped the water supply, ie the Indus Water Treaty. Closing the Attari post will damage the business, and the removal of ambassadors from there will also stop normal communication. India has attacked Pakistan at all political, economic and social levels.
