PM Modi’s Bihar Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate development projects worth Rs 13,480 crore, special attention to security system

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar today, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 13,480 crore. During this, the Prime Minister will participate in a program organized on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day and will address a gathering in Madhubani. Prior to Prime Minister Modi’s visit, strict security arrangements have been made in Bihar, especially the Indo-Nepal border.

Prime Minister Modi’s program

Prime Minister Modi’s visit will start from Madhubani at 11:45 am. Here he will take part in the National Panchayati Raj Day program and will give the National Panchayat Award to the best performing panchayats on this occasion. After this, he will lay the foundation stone of the LPG bottling plant costing about Rs 340 crore in Hathua in Gopalganj district, which will also have a railway unloading facility.

Along with this, Prime Minister Modi will also lay the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 1170 crore and will inaugurate projects worth more than Rs 50 crore in the power sector. These projects will provide strengthening the infrastructure and local development in Bihar.

Rail connectivity improvement in Bihar

Prime Minister Modi will also take some important steps to improve rail connectivity in Bihar. He will flag off the Amrit Bharat Express between Saharsa and Mumbai, Namo Bharat Rapid Rail between Jayanagar and Patna, and trains between Pipra and Saharsa. Apart from this, two rail overbridges will also be inaugurated in Supaul Pipra Rail Line, Hasanpur Bethan Rail Line and Chhapra-Bagaha. These projects will improve the connectivity of the region and promote socio-economic development.

PM Modi will meet the beneficiaries of PMAY-

Prime Minister Modi will hand over acceptance letters to 15 lakh new beneficiaries of PMAY-rural and will issue installments to 10 lakh PMAY-G beneficiaries across the country. Apart from this, after the inauguration of Namo Bharat Rapid Rail between Jayanagar to Patna, another rake of an indigenous train will be deployed on this route.

Tight security arrangements

The security system in Bihar has been extended to the highest level in view of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Bihar Director General of Police Vinay Kumar has ordered to increase security in the state, especially on the Indo-Nepal border. Under this order, terrorist groups and their sleeper cells will be strictly monitored. Apart from this, security has also been increased at public places, bus stands, railway stations and religious places in the state. The DGP has instructed all security forces to take necessary steps to remain active and deal with potential threats.
