Violent Clash On Delhi-Gwalior Bus: Driver Attacked, Bus Vandalised; Passengers Hide Beneath Seats To Save Life | FP Photo
Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A video of violent clash from a passenger bus was reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior, in which the bus driver was attacked and vehicle was vandalised.
A video of the incident has also surfaced on social media.
According to information, the incident took place after a dispute over picking up passengers at Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan bus stand. As the violence continued inside the bus, passengers had to hide under their seats or flee to save their lives.
It is said that the bus belonged to Sharma Travels and was heading from Delhi to Gwalior. It was targeted near Singhpur Road Tiraha under Gola Ka Mandir police station limits.
Reports said the attackers were from another travel company, Jai Shiv Travels.

Victim was threatened
According to a staff member of Sharma Travels from Tikamgarh, Anil Sharma, the matter began in Delhi when he was picking up passengers. There, he got into a verbal dispute with Devu Tomar, manager of Jai Shiv Travels. Though the argument was resolved temporarily, Devu reportedly threatened Anil, saying he would “see him in Gwalior.”
As the Sharma Travels bus entered Gwalior and reached Simco Tiraha, Devu and two of his associates arrived with sticks. They stopped the bus, and began smashing its windows and damaging the vehicle. The estimated damage is around ₹1.75 lakh.
Investigation on
At the time of the attack, 20 to 25 passengers were on board. Panic spread quickly, some passengers hid under the seats, while others ran out of the bus to escape the violence.
Police reached the scene shortly after the incident. A case has been filed, and an investigation is underway. Additional SP Niranjan Sharma confirmed that a video of the aftermath has surfaced, and efforts to identify and arrest the attackers are ongoing.
