In addition, Saifullah Khalid reached Kanganpur in Punjab, Pakistan, about two months before the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. There is a big battalion of the Pakistani army here.

After the Pahalgam terror attack, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Pahalgam on Tuesday evening to review the security situation. Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat informed the Home Minister about the incident.
