Ghaziabad Restaurant: New food security initiative in Ghaziabad, file complaint immediately with QR code

The Food Safety Department in Ghaziabad has launched a new initiative for the convenience of customers. Now if you see lack of poor quality food or cleanliness in a restaurant, hotel, bakery or dairy establishment, then you can easily file a complaint. For this, you just have to scan the QR code sticker installed outside the establishment from your mobile phone.

The department has installed such scanner stickers at about 100 major places in the district. These include 40 places in the Trans-Hindi region (Indirapuram, Sahibada, Alwar, Vasundhara) and 60 places in Ghaziabad city. This system is directly connected to the complaint portal of the Food Safety Department.

The department is also promoting this new initiative through mobile van. Establishment owners have been given clear instructions not to remove these stickers, otherwise strict action will be taken against them.

Currently, a total of 100 stickers have been installed and 300 additional stickers will be installed at other places soon. Right now the focus is at restaurants, hotels, bakery and grocery stores, but soon such stickers will be installed at street food corner, cold stores and ice cream stalls.
