The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 15 IPS officers including 2 DIG levels and 13 other IPS officers on Tuesday night. The Superintendent of Police (SP) of a total of 7 districts was involved.
Rohit Mishra, posted at DGP headquarters, has been made the new in -charge of Lucknow GRP. At the same time, Prashant Verma has been appointed as SP of Prayagraj GRP. Pilibhit SP Avinash Pandey has been posted at PAC SSF Lucknow branch and Abhishek Yadav has been replaced as Prayagraj Railway SP, Pilibhit SP. Aarti Singh has been made SP of Fatehgarh from Kanpur Police Commissionerate.
The Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) includes the name of SP Chakresh Mishra. Banda SP Ankur Aggarwal will now be the new SP of Sitapur. Mahoba SP Palash Baisakhi has been made Banda, while DCP traffic, Prabal Pratap Singh has been described as the new SP of Mahoba.
Additionally, two senior IPS officers, Kanpur Police Commissioner Akhil Kumar and Additional Director General of Police (PHQ) Anand Swaroop have been issued by the state government to go on central deputation.
