His wife Garima Mishra met the police commissioner and accused her husband and in -laws of harassing them for dowry. According to Garima, Amit and his family are harassing him for Honda City car and Rs 10 lakh. Apart from this, Garima has alleged that Amit Mishra also has extramarital affairs with many women.

Amit Mishra and Garima were married on 26 April 2021. Amit is currently away from cricket and works in the Reserve Bank of India in Kanpur. Garima has alleged, ‘Amit beat me several times and in December four months ago, when I protested after knowing about her relationship with other women, I was expelled from home. I am currently living in his house. ‘

On the other hand, Amit Mishra has said, ‘My wife herself is bothering me. “Apart from this, once my wife also beat me outside the bank office.”
