A shocking case of publicly threatening a woman judge by a convict has come to light in a Delhi court.
The judge found the accused guilty in the check bounce case. Due to which the accused publicly threatened and abused the woman judge. The accused tried to throw something at the judge. The accused also told the lawyer that the decision in this case should be in his favor.
The judge was mentally and physically harassed.
The accused threatened the judge and said, “What are you doing, you are out, see how you are staying at home.” Women Judge Shivangi Mangla found the accused guilty of check bounce under Section 138 of the negotiable instrument act. And now an order was issued to submit bonds for bail under Section 4376 in the next period. The accused and his lawyer harassed the judge mentally and physically. The judge was forced to resign from his post and Judge Mangla also cited these issues in his judgment. So both people again harassed the judge and demanded the acquittal of the accused. He threatened the judge that we would file a complaint against him and force him to resign. Action will be taken against the accused in the case of threat and harassment in the National Commission for Women. The woman judge has issued a show cause notice to the accused’s lawyer Atul Kumar in this case and has sought an answer as to why not file a case of contempt of court against him.
