A case of murder of former Bengaluru DGP Om Prakash has come to light. He was assassinated at his house at HSR Layout in Bangalore last evening. This incident has stirred up the state. Wife is being accused. Police have taken the body and sent it for postmortem.
According to the information, the former DGP has been found dead in my home under mysterious circumstances. Pallavi, wife of the former DGP, is accused of murder. The wife and daughter of the accused have been taken into custody. It is being told that there was a difference of opinion between husband and wife for many years. There was a debate about money. They both have a son and a daughter. Om Prakash, a 1981 batch IPS officer, served as the DGP and IGP of the state from 2015 to 2017. He was appointed DGP of Karnataka in 2015 and retired in 2017.
The Bengaluru Police Commissioner said that the death of the former DGP was reported between 4 to 4.30 am. The son was contacted and a complaint was lodged on his behalf, on the basis of which an FIR was lodged. Now the matter will be investigated. There is no arrest in this case yet.
