PCB: Former Pakistan head coach Jason Gilespi has claimed that he is still waiting for some of the remaining honorarium from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). On his Instagram account, Gillespi posted a story related to an interview to Pakistani media, stating that the PCB has not yet approved some of his remuneration. In April 2024, the PCB appointed Gillispie and Gary Kirsten of South Africa as the head coach of Red-Ball and White-Ball cricket respectively on a two-year contract.

Six months later, both were forced to resign, as the PCB withdrew most of the powers given to them and promised to start a new era for the Pakistani team. This is the first time the two have publicly talked about their financial matters with PCB. A news report said, “I am still waiting for the remaining honorarium from PCB.” In another story, he wrote, “Gary Kirsten and I sold my dream of forming a team. Suddenly, after losing a match, that dream is thrown out of the window.” Incidentally, PCB on Saturday invited applications for the posts of the posts of the head coach of the national team and the posts of Director of the Performance Center of Excellence in Lahore on its official website.
