Rural connectivity will get new life in Baghpat: 12 roadways will be reconstructed, 30 villages will directly benefit

An important initiative is being taken to strengthen the infrastructure in Baghpat assembly constituency of Uttar Pradesh. The work of repairing and reconstruction of 12 major roads of the region is going to start soon. Thousands of villagers and farmers from about 30 villages will directly benefit from this project.

Farmers and villagers will get big relief

Due to the dilapidated roads of the area, for a long time, villagers and especially farmers were facing a lot of trouble in transporting crops and agricultural produce. Now after the roads are fixed, they will be able to reach sugarcane mills and purchasing centers.

Big step towards rural development

This work is being done by the Public Works Department (PWD). The department has completed a tender process of ₹ 1.72 crore for repairing 12 roads and now work orders are being issued. It is estimated that construction work will begin by 30 April. The total length of these roads is about 12 kilometers.

Regional connectivity will be stronger

This step of the government will strengthen rural development as well as regional connectivity. Repair work will not only make daily traffic smooth but also make access to basic services like business, education and medicine.

Repair of contact route of Meerut-Baghpat highway also

Apart from this, a part of the contact route passing through the underpass of Surajpur Mahanwa from Meerut-Bagpat highway has been repaired by the Public Works Department, while the remaining part will be repaired by the District Panchayat.
