Seth Rollins isn’t content with simply settling his score with CM Punk inside the wrestling ring. The WWE superstar and former World Heavyweight Champion now has his sights set on a whole new battleground—the UFC Octagon. With tensions running high between the two ever since Punk’s dramatic return at Survivor Series: War Games in 2023, Rollins is proposing an unprecedented showdown.
Rollins is ready to push boundaries by stepping into unfamiliar territory to test himself against Punk in a legitimate MMA fight. Speaking on Outta Pocket with RGIII show, Rollins said, “In an MMA fight? Sure, yeah, I would. I’m not going to bust into his locker room backstage and start lighting him up, but if Dana White wanted to book CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins in the first non-UFC fighter vs. non-UFC fighter fight on one of his cards, I’d put on the gloves and give it a go.”
“It might be the only one I’d do, but if you put me in there with any of the other guys in my weight class, no, I’m out. Dana, if you want to make some money, book it, brother. Give us a few months. Give me a training camp. I feel like I could handle myself. TKO, we’re all under one umbrella now,”
Whats next for Seth Rollins?
Before any potential UFC fight becomes reality, Rollins and Punk are set to collide in one of the most highly anticipated matches of the year. The two will face off in a blockbuster triple threat match, also featuring Roman Reigns, on Night One of WrestleMania 41. The event is set to take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 19, 2025, and is expected to be an explosive chapter in their storied rivalry.
