Man Attempts Rape On Mentally Challenged Woman
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A man attempted to rape a mentally challenged woman at Neelam Park under Jehangirabad police station on Wednesday night. Hearing her cries, some locals rushed to the spot and rescued the woman. The accused was nabbed and bashed up by locals before he managed to flee the spot.
According to locals, a man lured the mentally unstable woman inside the park at around 10.30 pm and was trying to rape her taking advantage of the dark. However, some youths heard her cries and rushed to the spot. They rescued the woman and nabbed the accused.
However, he managed to flee before the locals could hand him over to police. The residents claimed that there are no lighting arrangements at the park and taking advantage, addicts and anti-social elements often loiter around during night hours.
SI Bhadoria at Jehnagirabad police station denied having knowledge about any such incident. He said an investigation will be carried out in this connection.
Video Of Man Torturing Goat Goes Viral, Case Registered
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Kotwali police registered a case against a man for brutally torturing his goat. A video of the incident went viral on social media following which an animal right activist gave a complaint to police on Wednesday.
In the video, the man, identified as Nadeem aka Azmi of Imami Gate area, is seen beating his goat with a stick.
He then ties the legs of the goat and pushes it to the ground and kicks it repeatedly. The video was shot while the accused was torturing the goat under a shed where he had kept his goat along with pigeons etc.
Animal rights activist Kabira Bhambani approached Kotwali police and registered an FIR. TI at Kotwali police station Kashiram Kushwaha said a case has been registered for causing harm to animals and further investigations were being carried out.
Miscreants Involved In Attack On Journalist Held, Paraded Publicly
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Misrod police arrested and publicly paraded the miscreants who assaulted a media person and his friend in the night on April 14. The accused assaulted the duo in a case of road rage and have fled the spot.
According to reports, journalist of a Hindi daily Vishesh Kumar and his friend Vijay Singh were returning home when their bike collided with another two-wheeler in Misrod area. Following an altercation, group of miscreants attacked Vishesh and Vijay resulting in multiple injuries to them.
An FIR was registered against unidentified assailants by Misrod police. On Wednesday night, police arrested six accused including two minors involved in the attack. On Thursday, police publicly paraded the accused Rajesh, Ajay Uike, Rupesh and Rahul Dhurve at the same spot where they have attacked Vishesh and Vijay.
Youth Hangs Self At Father’s Godown In Bairagarh
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 22-year-old man hanged himself inside a godown under Bairabarg police station limits on Wednesday night. No suicide note was found and reasons behind the suicide are still to be ascertained, police said.
According to reports, Suresh Lekhwani hanged himself in the godown of his father Mannulal Lekhwani. Mannulal, runs a mobile shop on Bairagarh Main Road and also has a godown in the back portion.
On Wednesday, Suresh hanged himself in the godown. Mannulal’s brother Ramesh saw the body and raised an alarm. Police did not find any suicide note. Police said that statements of the family members will soon be recorded.
