Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, known for her unapologetic attitude and sharp wit, recently clapped back at a social media troll who made a distasteful comment about her marriage with actor Zaheer Iqbal. Sonakshi once again reminded everyone that when it comes to trolling, she doesn’t back down. On Thursday (April 17), screenshot of her savage reply to the troll surfaced on social media and her reply is winning hearts of fans.
A couple of days back, an Instagram user left a snide remark on one of Sonakshi’s posts. “Your divorce is too close to you,” the comment read.
While Sonakshi and Zaheer’s fans gave befitting replies to the troll, the actress also clapped back. Rather than ignoring the hate, the Heeramandi actress decided to give it back with a dose of sass.
Her reply, which is now going viral, read, “Pehele teri mummy papa karenge, phir hum. Promise (First, your parents will get a divorce. Then we will, promise).”
Sonakshi tied the knot with longtime partner Zaheer in an intimate ceremony last year. Since then, the couple has often shared glimpses of their fun-loving relationship on social media. Whether it’s light-hearted teasing or romantic moments, the duo continues to serve major couple goals.
Despite their popularity, Sonakshi and Zaheer have also faced backlash online, particularly from those critical of their interfaith marriage. But clearly, Sonakshi isn’t letting the hate get to her and this latest mic-drop moment is proof.
