Actor Shine Tom Chacko was spotted fleeing his hotel room in Kochi and running down the stairs after cops conducted a drugs raid at the hotel on Wednesday night. This comes days after actress Vincy Aloshious accused him of misbehaving with her under the influence of drugs.
A CCTV footage shows Chacko taking the stairs from the third floor and running away around the same time that officials of the Kochi Police conducted a surprise raid in the hotel premises. According to Manorama Online, the raid was conducted by the anti-narcotics squad at around 11 pm.
Chacko, along with his companions, managed to escape the hotel just when the inspection began, and while no drugs or other narcotic substances were recovered from the hotel, cops suspect that the actor had received prior intimation about the raid.
Cops have now launched a manhunt for Chacko. The actor’s team has not released any statement as of yet.
