Bhiwani: A woman allegedly killed her husband with the help of her lover in Haryana’s Bhiwani. Both the accused then reportedly dumped the victim, Praveen’s, body in a drain. According to reports, Praveen caught his wife, Raveena, in an objectionable position with her lover, Suresh.
Raveena, a social media influencer, and Praveen were married in 2017. The couple has a six-year-old son. She has around 34,000 followers on the photo-sharing app. Ravine befriended Suresh almost two years ago in Haryana’s Premnagar, reported NDTV.
Notably, Suresh also used to make videos for his YouTube account. Soon, both started making videos together despite objections raised by Ravina’s husband and her family.
On March 25, the day of the incident, Praveen returned home and reportedly saw Ravina and Suresh in an objectionable position. He got angry. An argument broke out between the two.
It led to a fight, after which Raveena and Suresh allegedly strangled Praveen with a dupatta. Later at night around 2:30 am, the accused took Praveen’s body on a bike and then dumped it in the Dinnod Road drain. The drain is located around six kilometres away from Raveena’s house in Gujron ki Dhani in the old bus stand area.
The police recovered Praveen’s body three days later on Match 28. COps started scanning CCTV visuals of the area. The visuals showed a man on a bike with Raveena riding a pillion with her face covered. Notably, Praveen’s body was between both of them.
However, hours later both the accused returned, but Praveen’s body was missing. The police arrested Raveena and Suresh.
A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter.
