Delhi, Navarashtra: The Supreme Court on Tuesday gave a major verdict on child trafficking cases. The Supreme Court on Tuesday reprimanded the Uttar Pradesh government in the smuggling of newborns. Apart from this, the court has also issued some important rules for the states. If the child disappears after delivery, the hospital will be responsible. The court has directed that if a hospital is found smuggling newborns, its license should be canceled immediately.

The Supreme Court has also said that the state government should take strict action in cases related to theft of newborns. Justice J.B. Pardiwala and Justice R.K. The bench of Mahadevan said that all the High Courts across the country should seek a status report on pending cases related to child trafficking in their states. All hearing should be completed within six months. Such cases should be heard every day.

 

Negligence will be considered contempt. Any kind of negligence will be taken seriously. Failure to do so will be considered a contempt of the court. The Supreme Court on Tuesday heard a case of smuggling of a newborn baby, in which a couple from Uttar Pradesh bought the smuggled baby for Rs 4 lakh. In this case, the Allahabad High Court granted anticipatory bail to the accused, which was canceled by the Supreme Court.

… So it is not necessary to buy someone else’s child

  • The court has advised all the parents to be more careful about the safety of their newborns in the hospital.
  • The court said that parents are sad when their newborn dies. He feels that the child has returned to God, but his grief is unimaginable if his newborn child is stolen, because now his child is in the hands of an unknown gang.
  • If there are no children, buying someone else’s child cannot be the only way to get a child. The court said that it was done knowing that the child was stolen.
