The monsoon returns to mid -September. This year too, more than the average rainfall has been predicted, so it is expected that the monsoon in India will come at its regular time.
No El Nino Effect
Mrityunjay Mahapatra said that this year the situation of El Nino will not arise. Skymet had already forecast the monsoon. It states that El Nino will be weak and brief in this season. The possibility of adverse effects on the monsoon has been ruled out due to Al Nino. Therefore, there is a possibility of good monsoon rains.
