New speed to road development in Rajasthan, 6 new roads will be constructed in Sikar district at a cost of 93.65 crores

In the past years in Rajasthan, remarkable work has been done in the field of road infrastructure and now this work is going to catch up. Under the new decision of the state government, six new roads will be constructed in Sikar district at a cost of Rs 93.65 crore. The total length of these roads will be 103 km. The tender for construction work will be released by the Public Works Department (PWD) in the month of May. With the construction of these roads, more than three dozen villages in the district will get direct benefit.

Wide and paved road will reach every village

The Public Works Department had already submitted the DPR (detail project report) of these roads to the state government, which has now been approved. The construction of these roads will not be limited to improving traffic only, but it will also see significant improvements in the economy and lifestyle of the villages.

1. Palwas-Tasar-Ade Pass to Dhod Assembly
   • Length: 3.5 km
   • Cost: Rs 1.5 crore
2. Samota’s dhani to Kotdi Luharwas to Abhawas
   • Length: 75 km
   • Cost: Rs 35 crore
3. Road construction from NHC-52 to Srimadhopur
   • Length: 12 km
   • Cost: Rs 50 crore
4. Nechwa main station to SDM office and Balaji station
   • Length: 4.90 km
   • Work: Widening and Strengthening
   • Cost: 4.50 crores
5. Bt road from Khudi Chhoti Savlod Ladkhani
   • Length: 5.5 km
   • Cost: Rs 1.65 crore
6. Missing Link Road from Palwas to Shyampura to Tetarwalas Dhani
   • Length: 2.5 km
   • Cost: 1 crore rupees

What will the villages get benefit?

With the construction of these 103 km long roads, more than 36 villages in the district will get better connectivity. The problem of mud and waterlogging will be overcome during the rainy season. The possibility of accidents will also be reduced, because now the roads will be wide and clean, so that the vehicles coming from the front will be clear to small vehicles.

Through this project, the state government is not only improving basic facilities, but is also taking a strong step towards connecting villages with cities.
