Bhopal: Last week there was a discussion about the Waqf Board across the country. The Waqf Amendment Bill was introduced in the budget session of Parliament. This bill has been passed in both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. Chairman Draupadi Murmu has also signed the Waqf Board Amendment Bill. Now the first action has been taken in the country after the implementation of this Waqf Act.

The first action has been taken according to the Waqf Board Act. This is the first action taken in Madhya Pradesh. This operation was done in Panna, Madhya Pradesh. Here the administration has demolished an illegal madrasa built on government land. Bulldozers were scheduled to be run on this madrasa, but even before running the bulldozer, the director himself demolished the madrasa. The Muslim community itself complained about this madrasa running illegally on government land. When he was investigated, it was found that the complaint was correct. Local people said that Abdul Rauf Qadri is an outsider. He came here ten years ago. He occupied this land and illegally made a madrasa on government land. He started collecting donations in the name of poor children.

The SDM then issued a notice to the madrasa operator. SDM Sanjay Nagvanshi said that complaints of illegal madrasa construction and operation were received on government land, which has been taken into consideration. After this, the police team led by the Tehsildar of Panna conducted an investigation.

Hooliganism will not be tolerated in the name of Waqf

Vishnu Dutt Sharma said, “Illegal madrasa was going on under the guise of Waqf property in Panna. Goons and criminals were making bases to do anti -social work under the guise of Waqf property. Now action will be taken against all such illegal buildings after the Waqf Act.”
