Sankashti Chaturthi Puja Method
Take a bath in the morning first on the day of Vast Sankashti Chaturthi.
Then wearing clean clothes should be resolved to fast with a calm mind.
Clean the temple and install the idol of Ganesha on a red or yellow cloth.
If you do not have an idol, then worship the entire betel nut as Lord Ganesha.
After this, bathe Lord Ganesha with Panchamrit.
Then take a bath with clean water.
Offer vermilion, whole rice, sandalwood, incense, gulal, flowers, durva and holy thread to Lord Ganesha.
Now feed them their favorite sweets modak as offerings.
Argue to the moon in the evening.
After this, do the aarti of Ganpati by lighting the lamp and incense and finally end the fast.

It is mandatory to worship the moon on the day of Sankashti Chaturthi, only then your fast will be completed. On the day of Sankashti Chaturthi, the time of moonrise is 10:00 pm. When the moon rises, offer it with milk, water and white flowers.
