Delhi Airport: There has been chaos at Delhi Airport due to strong storm and lightning in the country’s capital Delhi-NCR. Air services at IGI Airport almost came to a standstill due to the storm. Flight services at Indira Gandhi International Airport were still disrupted today due to the cyclone which came on Friday evening. Hundreds of passengers were stranded due to the flight delay. The situation worsened due to thunderstorms on Saturday morning. There was chaos at the airport. A video of this has also gone viral, which shows that the airport is packed with passengers.

About 25 flights were converted from their prescribed destinations.

In fact, it would not be wrong to say that air services at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport came to a standstill due to the severe storm in Delhi and NCR areas on Friday evening. The impact of the storm was also felt on Saturday morning. Due to which hundreds of passengers were stranded for hours. From Friday evening till this morning, more than 200 domestic flights could not fly from Indira Gandhi International Airport. Due to the storm, the route of about 25 flights had to be changed and seven flights had to be canceled. After this negligence of the airlines, complaints on social media started increasing.

According to a local official, some flights were converted or canceled after the storm. This caused inconvenience to the passengers waiting for their flights at Delhi Airport. The diverted flight took time to reach Delhi, causing huge crowd at the airport.
