The mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Tawwur Rana is now under the grip of the law. The country’s investigating agency NIA wants to know the answers to all the questions that have been waiting for about 17 years. On Friday, terrorist Tahavvur Rana appeared before the NIA for the first time and many questions were asked to him.
The NIA asked Tehwwur to whom he met while coming to India and staying here.
According to sources, the NIA asked Tehwavur many questions that who they met during coming to India and staying here and where these meetings took place. However, Tahwwur Rana did not cooperate in the investigation and escaped from the NIA questions saying that he did not remember anything.

Tehwavur Rana is kept at NIA headquarters in Delhi. The NIA court has sent him to judicial custody for 18 days. Only 12 people have been allowed to go to the investigation agency’s cell where Rana has been kept. On Friday, Rana could be questioned for only three hours. Sources say that Tahavvur Rana is not giving a satisfactory answer to any question. He is answering most questions saying that ‘I don’t remember and I do not know.’ Investigating officials also asked Tahwwur Rana about his family and friends, but he is not giving any answer.
A long list of questions…
Sources say that NIA will interrogate Rana on all aspects related to the Mumbai attacks. The list of questions is long. Now in the next phase of interrogation, an attempt will be made to gather information about the sleeper cell, which was in touch with Tehwwur Hussain Rana and his on-ground operative David Coleman Headley during his visit to India.
Did Tahwwur Rana come to India before the attack?
Rana did not accompany Headley to most places, yet he made his journey easier by helping Headley in setting up the immigration law center in Mumbai and making other security arrangements. He came to India at least once between 8 November 2008 and 21 November 2008 and was with Headley. Not only this, he presented himself as a valid businessman to provide credibility to Headley.
