Jhansi, 25 September (H.C.). The Yogi government of the state is motivating women to self -sufficiency through the State Rural Livelihood Mission. More than 1000 women members of self -help groups jointly started Ujjwala inspiration small scale industries in village Ghughuva of Baragaon development block of Jhansi and mustard oil extracting plant was started here. The experience of women so far is excited and preparations are going on to increase this work.
Plant started a year ago
About a year ago, this plant was introduced as a pre -proclamation and a committee of 12 women members was formed to operate the industry. Initially, 561 women of groups were connected to the industry unit and now their number has increased to more than 1000. Technical support is also provided to these women by the Livelihood Mission.
Successful oil removal work
Parvati Devi, president of Ujjwala Inspiration Small Industries, said that at present, almost 3 quintals of oil are being done from 3 quintals of mustard. About 32 kg of oil is released from a quintal mustard. If some kind of problem arises, then people associated with livelihood mission provide help in it.
